  • Went past the helo so the Osprey pilot stopped and backed it up as fast and easily as if it were a car !!

  • crewmember checking tail rotor issue and double checking panel installation after QA and prior to a 1 hour run up to test systems.
  • While the MH-60R SEAHAWK crew spools up the chopper to what seemed like 70% for 1 hour - mechanic and QA went into ops A/C  and Osprey headed out to do some flying -- coordinated - mechanic / QA came out at 1 hour - SEAHAWK shut down - OSPREY was landing for the second time to get the mechanic - QA men and see if they had to haul the crew home too ... mechanic and QA rechecked tail rotor for problem - passed it to allow crew to fly it back to NAS Patuxent River, Md  - OSPREY gave them a 15 minute head start and then left themselves.
